May 7 - Garrone presents "Terra di mezzo" (ITA, sub ENG)

A special evening as part of our “First Steps” retrospective, dedicated to debut films and the moment when a director’s voice first takes shape. Cannes, Venice, EFA awarded, and Oscar nominated Matteo Garrone presents his first film “Terra di Mezzo” (1996), followed by an in-depth conversation about beginnings, memories, fears, courage. A rare opportunity to see this gem of independent cinema on the big screen again, enhanced by the chance to discuss it directly with the director, in conversation with festival director Marcello Di Trocchio.
